Nick Pachota is a father, grandfather, first responder and small business owner who currently serves as the conservative Mayor of Venice.v
During his time as Mayor Nick earned a reputation for being a Republican leader who puts citizens first by cutting taxes, supporting local law enforcement, firefighters and paramedics, standing up to developers and special interests, and working to protect the cultural institutions that make our community special.
For Nick, government service is a continuation of his lifelong commitment to serving others. Growing up in the hospitality industry, Nick regularly picked up shifts at the family restaurant, serving fresh Florida seafood to neighbors and visitors alike. As a student in local schools, Nick served on the Venice Youth Advisory Board and as a Police Explorer. This ignited Nick’s passion for public service and let him to pursue a career as an EMT, Paramedic, Firefighter, and SWAT Medic.
Nick Pachota knows from first-hand experience how decisions made in Tallahassee impact our local community. In the wake of multiple hurricanes, Nick fought to break bureaucratic logjams to get relief flowing to impacted residents. Nick also witnessed how a lack of oversight allowed government contractors to drag their feet in providing essential services in response to both natural disasters and the COVID pandemic.
Most of all, Nick understands that government’s natural tendency is to be inefficient and wasteful of public dollars. As a conservative businessman, Nick Pachota uses his financial skills to implement accountability measures and ensure tax dollars are used thoughtfully, conservatively, and in a manner that provides value for our citizens.
There is a radical social agenda aimed at Floridians, and especially our children. From policies that disregard the value of human life, to the battle parents constantly fight to protect our children from social and political agendas, Nick Pachota recognizes that the best way to protect our next generation is to return to the traditional values that made America great. Protecting the right to life, banishing political and social agendas from our libraries and classrooms, protecting our freedom of religion, and defending our constantly under siege Second Amendment rights, Nick will work to protect the rights that keep Florida free and make America great!
